Intern, Climate Change and Energy Team
The British Embassy invites applications for the above position.
Responsibilities to include: Support research on energy related issues, with focus on renewable and biofuels; and help with the organisation of activities, such as: visits, workshops, seminars and missions.
This is a challenging job in a fast-moving team. The essential requirements are as follows:
- Undergoing a university degree;
- Interest and knowledge on Energy issues;
- A self-starter with lots of enthusiasm and energy who can work well in a team but take the initiative to deliver;
- Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English and Portuguese; and
- Strong IT skills and literacy in Microsoft office packages (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Payment: R$/hours (based on 2 minimum salaries)
Start date: November 2009. The contract will be initially for 6 months, extendable by a further three months.
