Consular registration

It is advisable for British nationals who are either resident in or visiting Brazil to register their presence with our Embassy or Consulates General, whether or not they are in Brazil for business or pleasure. This allows us to keep in touch with them whilst they are in Brazil and provide Consular assistance in the event of an emergency.

British nationals on-line consular registration - LOCATE

Our online registration service LOCATE is for all British nationals to tell us about their travel and/or residence outside the United Kingdom, whether short trips or long term stays.  Please use it to tell us where you are travelling to or where you live. If there's a crisis where you are, British consular staff can contact you to help and can let family and friends know that you are safe.  It only takes a few minutes to register your overseas contact details and travel plans online. There is no need to contact us directly.
