Certified copies are used for immigration purposes, to open account in the UK, to register in a University and in other situations that require a proof that the person is a holder of the original document.

Important: To open an account in a bank in the UK the requirement is usually for the certified copy with the true likeness.

The original document to be copied. (Certified copies cannot be used to certify the copies, you should request the original document.)
