I need to prove to the local authorities that I use two different names. How do I go about that?
You will need the ALSO KNOW AS document issued by the nearest Embassy, Consulate or Honorary Consulate.
The Federal Police, Immigration, Local Notaries and other Authorities request this document when a person has two or three different names or changed the name for civil purposes such as marriage or divorce.
Documents required:
- original documents that officially show the differences in the names: passport, driving license, birth certificate or marriage certificate. certified copies will not be accepted.
